Warranty & Guarantee:

All new watches sold by IslandWristWear are covered by the applicable two-year legal guarantee against a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.

If a watch is faulty, does not function as expected or does not correspond with its description, the customer should contact IslandWristWear and provide proof of purchase. IslandWristWear will assess the watch and, where applicable, arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may include repair or replacement. Where these remedies are unavailable, impossible or cannot be completed within a reasonable time, the customer may be entitled to a price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.

Certain watches may also include a manufacturer or distributor commercial warranty. The availability and terms of any additional commercial warranty will be stated with the watch or provided at the time of purchase. Any additional warranty does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

Damage & Exclusions:

The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused after delivery through accidental impact, misuse, unauthorised repair or modification, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, or water exposure beyond the watch’s stated water-resistance rating.

Normal wear and tear—including cosmetic scratches, gradual strap wear, plating wear and routine battery replacement—is not considered a manufacturing fault unless the item or component was defective or non-conforming when supplied.

Watches submitted for assessment should be returned with their proof of purchase and any relevant warranty documentation.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal:

Customers who purchase a watch through the IslandWristWear website, WhatsApp or another method of distance communication generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the watch, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must inform IslandWristWear through WhatsApp or email before the 14-day period expires.

The watch must then be returned without undue delay, complete with its box, manuals, warranty documentation, accessories and any supplied bracelet links.

Customers may inspect and handle the watch only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. IslandWristWear may apply an appropriate deduction where the watch has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently been reduced.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost and safe return of a change-of-mind item. IslandWristWear is responsible for reasonable return costs when an item is faulty, damaged upon delivery or does not correspond with the order.

Where the right of withdrawal applies, IslandWristWear will issue the applicable refund, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within the period required by law. IslandWristWear may withhold the refund until the watch has been returned or the customer provides evidence that it has been sent back.

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to watches purchased entirely through an in-person transaction where no distance contract was concluded. This does not affect the customer’s rights if the watch is faulty or not as described.

Important: Trying a watch on briefly is different from wearing it normally. Watches returned with signs of extended wear, scratches, altered or removed protective materials, resized bracelets without all original links, or missing accessories may have suffered a reduction in value.
